Artivismo

In 2023 - 2024, the Alliance for Community Engagement sponsored "Artivismo Youth Education"  - a youth project for activism including education on the roots of  art as a tool for political  expression and empowerment and practical application through "artivismo" projects and artistic mentorship.   In March 2024, we held a Pop-Up Art Show in collaboration with Chavistas Youth and the Ceasar Chavez Service Clubs to present the art created as part of our project.
